Experienced in on-location production of television specials, Carol C. Godwin (CCG) has worked with the following film, television and production companies to create, script, film and broadcast the following successful national and international television features.

CCG developed concept and worked closely with Mr. Food producers at Ginsburg Enterprises Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to determine the on-site locations, assisted with script writing and editing, and coordinated and managed the three-day Colonial Williamsburg filming in Williamsburg, Virginia.  The one-hour An Old-fashioned Christmas broadcast on U.S. television affiliates in 2004 and airs seasonally in selected markets.  Holiday decorating and food segments are available for download at these links:

Great Hotels with Samantha Brown, Travel Channel

CCG pitched the concept and worked closely with PineRidge Film and Television in Jacksonville, Florida, a producer for the Travel Channel “Great Hotel” series, to develop the program. CCG coordinated the Colonial Williamsburg site locations, authentic period custom for Samantha Brown, scheduled historic character interpreters who appear with Miss Brown, assisted with script development and edits, and managed the four-day shoot at the Williamsburg Inn, Colonial Houses, historic operating taverns and Governor’s Palace in the Colonial Williamsburg Historic Area.  The one-hour “Great Hotels” feature broadcast on the Travel Channel in 2003.  Video is available on request.

CCG assisted Sunbury, Ohio-based KICKS Club producers develop The Spirit of Freedom filmed on-location at Colonial Williamsburg in Williamsburg, Virginia.  CCG coordinated and managed production crew, selected locations and assisted with script edits for the 30-minute video broadcast annually in select national markets.
